Find out who we’ve picked this week as our winners and losers in Round 5!
It’s still an open league, with any team able to take points away from another and only 1 BP win separating 9th place and a playoff spot. Some great matchups ahead this weekend so let’s get into it:
Falcons vs Wasps
The Falcons haven’t beaten Wasps since 2011 and haven’t gotten off to a great start in 2018/19. We don’t imagine this game going any other way.
Wasps by 12
Bristol Bears vs Northampton Saints
Bristol have showed great promise so far this year with 2 wins already. Saints haven’t yet turned a corner from their disaster last season. Ashton Gate to become a fortress? Bears fans’ will fancy their chances this week.
Bristol Bears by 7
Exeter Chiefs vs Worcester Warriors
Chiefs are unstoppable and especially at home. Despite thumping Tigers last week, we have to say sorry to Worcester fans.
Exeter Chiefs by 20
Gloucester vs Harlequins
Harlequins don’t seem to have it together and it’s clear Gloucester have at times so far this year. Kingsholm a tough place to go for any team.
Gloucester by 14
Saracens vs Bath
Bath have started better than most give them credit for, but to take a fully loaded Saracens down at home is too far a prediction.
Saracens by 14
Leicester Tigers vs Sale Sharks
Coming off a complete hiding last week at home by Worcester, Tigers will have something to prove this week. It will either be a win or a complete meltdown for Tigers.
Leicester Tigers by 7
After some major upsets last week, we are sure all our PRO14 players will be wanting some stability in their scores again this week!
Cardiff vs Cheetahs
We’re reaching out on this one but Cheetahs yet to prove anything away from home.
Cardiff by 20
Edinburgh vs Benetton
Benetton are showing much improvement and will be pleased with the first 4 rounds, however it’s time for Edinburgh to hit first gear and a home win is a must this week.
Edinburgh by 12
Zebre vs Ospreys
It should have been be no surprise to see Ospreys top Zebre’s italian brethren last week, and this week we think they will get their 4th win in 5.
Ospreys by 7
Connacht vs Leinster
It’s a safe bet to pick Leinster every week, home or away against anyone.
Leinster by 10
Scarlets vs Kings
Kings winning their first PRO14 game last week was historic, especially seeing as it was against Glasgow, but unfortunately we think it’ll be back to business as usual in this one.
Scarlets by 20
Glasgow vs Dragons
Glasgow will be ready to right the wrongs of next week. We can see a big reaction coming from the Glasgow boys.
Glasgow by 14
Munster vs Ulster
Munster will want to put last week behind them, but Ulster are impressing already this year and are the only unbeaten team in the PRO14. Our game of the weekend for sure.
Munster by 4
